What a trade for the Braves. Best lefty reliever in baseball to complete the best pen in the NL and Thorman gets to start, and we get Lillibridge, a stud SS prospect and have the throw in a nobody (Jamie Romack)
The Braves have traded Adam LaRoche and a minor leaguer to the Pirates for Mike Gonzalez and a player to be named later, according to ESPN.com. LaRoche hit 32 HR and had 92 RBI.
