Torii Hunter? You can't be serious can you?
Hunter won't even sniff the MVP talks this year.
A solid darkhorse pick would've been Grady Sizemore. Hunter as choice is a joke.
American League MVP: Justin Morneau, Twins
Darkhorse: Vladimir Guerrero, Angels
American Legaue Cy Young: Fausto Carmona, Indians
Darkhorse: Dustin McGowan, Blue Jays
American League Rookie of the Year: Joba Chamberlain, Yankees
Darkhorse: Evan Longoria, Rays
American League Comeback Player of the Year: Rich Harden, Athletics
Darkhorse: ---
starting the year in minors makes him one
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on all your selections. For MVP, you still have to go with A-Rod. He is in the middle of the best offense in the game (yes better than the Tigers). For the Cy Young award, I would have to say CC Sabathia has a pretty good chance at repeating now that Johan is in the NL. I agree wiht you on ROY if he can stay healthy and keep the job. As for comeback player of the year, Its gotta be PRONK.
I am going to agree with you, but you have to keep it interesting. I believe my picks have a legitimate chance to win. But a-rod and cc came very close in my predictions. It wouldn't surprise me. A-rod may not be in the best lineup, but definitely one of the smartest and experienced.
mcgowan is going to be a real dark horse, because he's out for the YEAR!
American League MVP: Alex Rodriguez, Yankees
Darkhorse: Grady Sizemore, Indians
American Legaue Cy Young: Justin Verlander, Tigers
Darkhorse: JJ Putz, Mariners
American League Rookie of the Year:
Jacoby Ellsbury, Red Sox
Darkhorse: Daric Barton, A's
American League Comeback Player of the Year: Francisco Liriano, Twins
Darkhorse: BJ Ryan, Blue Jays
Longoria got sent to the minors, tough to win the rookie of the year award from AAA.
Some solid picks, but definately disagree with Hunter, he wont even sniff MVP. A-ROD seems like a solid bet. For cy, hey if Doc is healthy he can dominate the league. McGowan is surely a dark horse. Comeback with Harden solid, with Ryan as darkhorse.
AL MVP: A-Rod
Darkhorse: Grady Sizemore
AL Cy Young: Justin Verlander
Darkhorse: Felix Hernandez
AL ROY: Jacoby Ellsbury
Darkhorse: Alexei Ramirez
AL CPOY: Richie Sexson
Darkhorse: Rich Hardin(he may very well get hurt once again)
PS i'm the first comment that said Hunter for MVP was a joke...just so you know
Ryan Braun won the ROY last year after starting out in AAA... why can't Longoria do it?

American League Rookie of the Year: Evan Longeria, Rays
Darkhorse: Phil Hughes, Yankees
American League Comeback Player of the Year: Rich Harden, Athletics
Darkhorse: Scott Rolen, Blue Jays
Matsui, whos numbers have declined will have a bounce back year and he hasnt been the same since his wrist injury. And I was at a loss so I picked a Yankee which I hate them all but Cano.
Phil isnt a rookie and even if he was how is he a darkhorse and same with verlander and Miguel
How can you have Longoria winning Rookie of the year. I know this is a little late but just because Sports Illustrated wrote a whole article about him doesnt mean he is going to put up good numbers. What about Ellsbury? There is also no way Verlander is going to win the Cy Young. And good pick for come back player of the year Harden is finally injury free.
