According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Astros and Carlos Lee are closing in on a deal. When Lee got traded to Texas, it came as no surprise that he would hit the open market and sign with Houston, where he lives. Carlos Lee batted .300 with 37 HR's 116 RBI's and 19 SB's. Playing for Houston will definitely add on several home-runs with that shortened fence in left. If the rumor is false, expect the Phillies to make a serious run for Lee, who lost out on Soriano, Sheffield, and Ramirez.
