Cliff Floyd Update
Thursday, December 14, 2006
My report last night stating Cliff Floyd had agreed to a deal with the Cubs was not far off. According to Jerry Crasnick, the Cubs are "moving closer" to signing Cliff Floyd and expect a deal to be done next week. The Mariners are also interested in signing Floyd, but Floyd has voiced his desire to play in Chicago. Floyd hit .244 with 11 homers in 97 games last year with the Mets. The Cubs plan to announce the signing of Ted Lilly tomorrow, and Daryle Ward and Jason Marquis next week.

haha, thanks. think about subscribing to my site. it will send u updates right away when i update it.
how do you subscribe to the site?
Who do you think will make the cubs starting rotation, considering that they have like 7 starters.
the RSS feed where u type the adress. also, you could do the add to good tab under "site meter" and link it to ur google homepage
zambrano
lilly
marquis
hill
miller*
*cotts, marshall, and prior will all share time in that spot however. I think marmol will be in the pen.
What makes you think that marquis is ahead of hill. I think he could easily at the end year be the #2.
i just put the names together, i think hill will be number 2, possibly number 3. if i had to put a rotation together for the season it would be:
zambrano
hill
lilly
marquis
miller*
with marshall, prior, and cotts slipping into that spot
