Just seven hours after a five year, 55 million dollar deal for Gil Meche, the Royals and Octavio Dotel have agreed to a one year deal, worth 5 million dollars. Dotel pitched in 10 innings going 0-0 with a 10.80 ERA and 7 K. He has 34 career saves.
