Yankees and Blue Jays to Pursue Randy Wolf

Monday, November 13, 2006

Teams that are low on pitching are going to be looking to add depth. The Yankees, who just lost Jaret Wright, will be looking to add a 3rd and 4th starter. Since Pavano will not be ready, and player like Randy Wolf could come in and ease back into the player he was before surgery. The Blue Jays, will be trying to draw as many players as they can to Toronto this year. They hope they could land a premier player, but I doubt anyone would want to go up there. A pitcher looking to bounce back is a player they would draw. They have set their sights on Randy Wolf to be a number 2 or 3 starter. The Cubs have also expressed interest, but I think they are hoping they can convince Jason Schmidt to come to the Cubs.
