Tom Glavine Files For Free Agency

Friday, November 10, 2006

Today Tom Glavine filed for free agency. However, it was strictly procedural and it does not mean he is for sure leaving the Mets. When you look at their team, how could you leave? They are on the brink of establishing themselves as the best team in the NL, maybe the MLB. If he leaves and returns to the Braves, his former team, it jeopardizes his chances of making the playoffs. Glavine, who went pitched 198 innings with a record of 15-7 and 131 strikesouts. His ERA was 3.82. He still has the stuff to pick up wins but I do not think he could help or lead a different team to a playoffs, especially over the Mets.

My Guess: Braves
